Why Dan?

Collier County needs leadership rooted in experience, integrity, and common sense.

Dan Zegarac brings decades of success in business and years of hands-on government leadership. He has served on city councils, led as City Council President, overseen major public-private projects, and helped hire police chiefs and senior city leadership. Dan knows how government should work — focused, disciplined, and accountable to the people.

As a Republican, Dan believes in fiscal responsibility, limited government, and strong oversight. Taxpayer dollars must be respected, spending must be justified, and results must matter.

Since moving to Naples in 2021, Dan has closely observed Collier County government and understands the daily challenges residents face: traffic congestion, infrastructure strain, workforce housing, and excessive spending. Dan believes the County must work with the City of Naples, not against it, to solve these issues.

That’s why Dan... Proven leadership. Real accountability.
